Anna is an advanced graduate intern currently studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Concordia University. She practices from the standpoint that it is the relationships we have with others that shape us into who we are and what we believe about ourselves, and sees therapy as a unique space where those relationships and experiences can be reprocessed and reorganized so as to gain new insights and understandings into why we do what we do. Her approach to therapy is reliant on a therapeutic relationship that is built on trust, empathy, and compassion to ensure her clients not only gain insight into their beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors; but to also feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Anna has taken the Gottman Couples Therapy training and uses this modality to support increased friendship, healthy communication, and deeper understanding in the couples she serves.

Ben has practiced various forms of yoga for 10 years, and recently completed his 200 hour YTT with a focus on trauma-informed guidance and instruction.
What To Expect in Ben’s Classes :
Moving dynamically from one posture into another following the breath, this continuous flow of movement and breath generates a meditative state, encouraging practitioners to let go of thought and focus on the experience of the present moment. In flow yoga, each movement into or out of a posture is timed with an inhalation or an exhalation in a choreographed sequence.
Most will be comprised of an energizing sequence with focus on stamina, strength and breath, often with a theme incorporated. The flowing movements may sometimes be combined with some longer holds of certain postures. Practitioners are encouraged to befriend the body and learn how to listen to and honor its needs in the moment.
