My practice is rooted in a process-based, relational, and decolonial framework that centers you as the expert on your own experience. I offer holistic, highly individualized care that attends to all aspects of your life - physical, emotional, social, cultural, and environmental - as they impact the symptoms and concerns bringing you to therapy.
My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Jungian/Psychodynamic, Person-Centered, Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Polyvagal Theory, and skills-based modalities including CBT and DBT, while incorporating an integrative framework that includes top-down cognitive and bottom-up somatic approaches. I operate my practice from a strongly-held Liberation Psychology orientation and lean into less traditional interventions such as dream analysis and projective exploration.
Therapy with me is a collaborative and ongoing conversation: together, we identify the approaches that best support your journey toward whole-person wellness, whether they be structured, creative/expressive, talk-based, or any combination. I tailor my services to be as highly or as loosely structured as suits you, and I actively encourage your feedback to ensure your therapy remains responsive and effective.
The therapeutic relationship is foundational to my work with clients; a co-created, egalitarian space focused on trust, safety, and connection. Rejecting the traditional Western medical model of pathologization, I view your experiences as meaningful adaptations to your neurobiological, psychological, and sociocultural environments. My approach embraces a social model of disability, particularly for neurodivergent clients, and acknowledges the impact of systemic and historical factors such as racism, ableism, capitalism, and colonization.
I specialize in ADHD, particularly late-diagnosed women, and am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider. As a queer clinician with ADHD, I am passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community. My work integrates both bottom-up (somatic, emotional, sensory) and top-down (cognitive, reflective) strategies. Together, we will explore core beliefs, identity development, and internalized narratives of shame, fostering insight, self-compassion, and empowerment for adults aged 19 and older.
